MORRISTOWN, NJ - On Sunday, December 22 nd , the annual Chanukah Celebration was held on the Morristown Green. The centerpiece was the Grand Menorah Lightning hosted by Rabbi Moishe Gurevitz of the Chabad Young Professionals and Mayor Timothy Dougherty.

Prior to the lighting, Rabbi Gurevitz reflected on the message of Chanukah and how the candles symbolize the love we have for one another. As further explained by Mayor Dougherty, the light of the candles represent hope “in times of darkness look for the light.”

Attendees also enjoyed a musical performance and a magic show. Additionally, there were free donuts, hot chocolate, and menorahs for people to take home.
