This spring, ISP launches Ambassadors of Hope (AOH), a formation program for ISP alumni volunteers who have overcome homelessness and addiction and want to grow as ISP leaders. The Loyola Jesuit Center men’s team is proud to announce that Loyola Jesuit Center team member John Brija has been selected through a competitive, nationwide process to join the inaugural AOH cohort.

Over the course of the two-year AOH program, John and fellow Ambassadors will deepen their spirituality and strengthen their recovery while growing as ISP leaders on the local and Network levels. They will participate in a range of retreats and workshops based in reflective learning, servant leadership, and customized practicum experiences.

Each Ambassador is paired with a Companion, a veteran team member who will walk with and share the journey. Companions are dedicated to the ISP ministry and committed to the spiritual growth of Ambassadors as well as to their own faith life. Sam Reynolds, member of the ISP Loyola Jesuit Center men’s team, will companion John.
