MORRISTOWN, NJ – A number of Morristown High School wrestlers placed in the Morris County Wrestling Tournament on Saturday at Mount Olive High School. Medal winners were Gio Rivera, Conor Watson and Aidan Watson. Rivera and Conor Watson placed 5th and Aidan Watson placed 6th.

"With 3 undercalssmen placing, we are setting a foundation for the future Colonials that will receive medals down the road", said MHS wrestling staff.

At 106 pounds, Morristown’s Mason Gervasio fell to Kinnelon’s Evan Mougalian by fall in 1:01 in the quarterfinals. At 132, West Morris Central’s Robert Bohr won by fall over Morristown’s Giovanni Rivera in 1:34.

Morristown 152-pounder Connor Watson lost to Delbarton’s Colin Calvetti in the quarterfinals by a fall in 1:46. Aidan Watson, at 170, lost a 3-1 decision to Andrew Bryan of Mendham in the quarterfinals.

Morristown finished 17th in the team scores with 43 points. Delbarton won its 12th straight county tournament championship with 314.5 points. Montville (179), Mount
Olive (149.5), West Morris Central (137.5) and Mendham (130) rounded out the top five.
