MORRISTOWN – After suffering a 5-0 setback to Randolph to start the season, the Morristown High School girls soccer team tied with Parsippany Hills in its home opener,
3-3, after two overtimes couldn’t decide a winner.

Senior Morgan O’Neill chipped in a goal to put the Colonials in the lead but Parsippany answered quickly with two goals of their own. Senior Gabby Romano then scored twice for the Colonials tying up the game.  After no additional goals in both overtimes, the conference match ended in a 3-3 tie.

O’Neill put in her first goal of the season after leading the team the last two seasons. She finished with 11 goals last season as a junior.
