MORRISTOWN – The Morristown High School boys ice hockey team lost to Morristown-Beard, 5-0, on Wednesday, Jan. 29, at Mennen Sports Arena. 

The Crimson scored two goals apiece in the first and second periods. Mo-Beard (14-3-1) had a 36-15 advantage in shots on goal. 

Hollis Humphries led Morristown-Beard with two goals, and Cam Fernandez, Andrew Low and Tommy Matthews all scored. Matthews had three assists and Noah Jones had two for the Crimson.

Morristown, which dropped to 8-8-4 on the season, saw goalie Dylan Peck make 31 saves. 

The Colonials take on Oratory Prep on Friday at Union Sports Arena. The puck will drop at 4:40 p.m.
