MORRISTOWN, NJ - The Morristown American 10U baseball team is on a roll.  With wins against Randolph, Vernon and Hillside, the team will now play for the NJ State Section 1 Title on Thursday July 18 at 5:30pm. 

Coaches Curnow and Summa gave the following game recap:

On Sunday under sweltering 90 degree conditions they faced District 20 champion Vernon. The boys jumped out to a quick 6-0 lead and didn’t let up en route to a 9-3 victory.

That earned them a semi-final game against District 4 champion Hillsdale on Tuesday. Last night's contest was much tighter but the team kept their cool and thanks to some timely hits, great pitching, and key defensive plays, they won the game with a final score of 6-2.
