The 2019 seeding meeting for girls soccer was Tuesday morning and the Morristown High School girls soccer team was given the seventh seed in the NJSIAA North Jersey, Section 1, Group 4 tournament.
The Colonials will take on 10th-seeded North Bergen in the first round on Monday, Oct. 28, at Greystone-Central Park in Morris Plains at 4 p.m.
The winner will meet second-seeded Randolph or 15th-seeded Hackensack in the North 1, Group 4 quarterfinals.
Morristown met Randolph twice this year, losing both times, including in the Morris County Tournament. The Colonials are 8-3-4 on the season following a 4-3 win over
Montville on Oct. 17. Montclair is the top seed in North 1, Group 4. After Randolph, Livingston is the third seed, Ridgewood the fourth and Kearny the fifth.
The sectional quarterfinals will be held on Oct. 31 and the sectional semifinals will be Monday, Nov. 4. The sectional finals will be played on Thursday, Nov. 7. The public state semifinals will be played at neutral sites on Tuesday, Nov. 12. The Group finals will be held on Saturday, Nov. 16, at Kean University.
