MORRISTOWN – The Morristown High School girls soccer, boys soccer, girls tennis and girls volleyball teams were in action on Tuesday, Sept. 24.

Boys Soccer - The Colonials (5-2-1) won their third in a row by defeating Mendham for the second tiem
this season, 3-1, on Tuesday. Jordan Viotto, Andres Casanova and Connor Tierney scored goals for Morristown. Yefri Lozano and Connor Manion had assists and goalie Jonathan Nicholson made 11 saves in
the win.

For Mendham, Casey Lombardo scored on an assist from PJ Ryan and goalie Jack Journeycake finished with 11 saves.

Girls Soccer - Morristown lost to Mount St. Mary, 2-1, on Tuesday. The Colonials (3-2-3) had a 15-10 edge in shots on goal. Kathryn Duff scored on an assist from Morgan O’Neill for Morristown. Sabrina Dilorio and Jaclyn Dencker finished with goals for Mount St. Mary.

Girls Tennis - Morristown (6-5) defeated Montville, 3-2, on Tuesday. Grace Starcher picked up a 6-0, 6-1 win at first singles, Maddie Siegel won 6-0, 6-0 at second singles and Alex Fisher/Madison Silver won a 6-4, 6-2 match at first doubles for the Colonials.

Girls Volleyball - Morristown (1-7) lost to Morris Hills, 25-13, 25-9 on Tuesday. The Colonials take on
Mendham on Thursday.
