MORRISTOWN, NJ – Following its season opener against Livingston, the Morristown High School wrestling team returned to the mat on Saturday in an invitational at
Irvington High School.

The Colonials took third place, tying Irvington.

Individually, there were a ton of accomplishments for Morristown. Sophomore 132- pounder Giovanni Rivera, freshman 152-pounder Connor Watson and junior 160-pounder
Eric Jackson all took first place.

Sophomore 106-pounder Mason Gervasio, junior 120-pounder Connor Joel and senior 145-pounder Marc Dilluvio all finished in second.

Morristown will have tournaments next week, starting with a girls tournament at Bloomfield on Thursday. The team then takes the mat on Saturday for a holiday tournament at Parsippany.
