Morristown's Jami Wendell Named to Alvernia Baseball Team for 2018 Season

READING, PA - Morristown High School graduate Jami Wendel has been named a member of Alvernia's Baseball team for the Spring 2018 season, announced the university. Wendell, a catcher for the team since 2017 is studying athletic training at Alvernia University.

"It's great to hear that Jami is doing well at Alvernia", said Ed Collins, Morristown High School baseball coach . "I am very happy and proud of him. It takes a very dedicated individual to play college baseball. It shows how strong he is mentally and physically".

The team will take on Randolph Macon College on Saturday February 24 in Ashland Virginia.

Alvernia is an active member of the Middle Atlantic Conference's (MAC) - Commonwealth Conference, the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) and the NCAA. The Golden Wolves boast 24 varsity athletic teams and have made 33 NCAA Championship appearances.
