MORRISTOWN, NJ - An event to lift the stigma of mental illness and substance abuse while building a strong and healthy community will take place on Saturday June 22 on the Morristown Green.

The Breaking Stigma Festival is a free event featuring music, art making, poetry readings, comedy, yoga, musical performances and featured speakers. Morris County Sheriff Jim Gannon will be in  attendance with Hope One.

The event runs from 12noon - 3pm and  is a collaborative effort between Morris County’s LIFE Center Stage, Community Coalition for a Safe and Healthy Morris, Atlantic Health Systems, Morris County Human Services, the Stigma Free Committee and many others.
