MORRIS PLAINS, NJ - The COVID-19 pandemic has canceled so many things that the Borough of Morris Plains wanted to move the annual firework display to a virtual event. The live stream virtual firework display will take place on Saturday June 27 at 9:15pm (rain date of Sunday June 28 at 9:15pm)
"The Borough’s Annual Family Day had to be canceled due restrictions on gatherings", said officials. "However, we want to deliver to you the excitement of our annual Fireworks Display. Although, it will be viewed virtually this year’s display will be bigger and better with fireworks going 250’ to 500’ in the air".

Community Park will be closed to the public beginning at 11am on Saturday June 27. Spectators will not be allowed to view the fireworks from the field.
"Hopefully, you will find the display exciting as we celebrate Independence Day", said officials.
