MORRISTOWN, NJ - Morristown residents are invited to a financial literacy workshop on Free Tax Help on Thursday January 17. The program will take place at the Morristown Library at 6:30pm.
The workshop will offer free tax help through the VITA Program (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance). The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program offers free tax help to people who earn less than $60,000 a year, seniors, anyone with a disability, those with limited English. IRS certified volunteers will provide free basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing to qualified individuals.

A light dinner will be served at 6pm. Guests are asked to arrive prior to 6:30. The workshop will last approxiamately 2 hours.
The workshop is presented by Mayor Time Dougherty, Councilwoman Toshiba Foster in collaboration with NORWESCAP, The Town of Morristown and the Morristown & Morris Township Library.
