MORRISTOWN, NJ - The Town of Morristown will be holding a Food Drive on Saturday, May 16 to benefit the Interfaith Food Pantry. The drive will be held from 9am - 12noon at Town Hall.
According to the Interfaith Food Pantry, the items most needed include: pasta, pasta sauce, tomato products, cereal, dry milk (1 qt. packaging), evaporated milk, shelf stable rice/almond milk, peanut butter, Rice-A-Roni, Hamburger Helper, canned tuna fish, canned meat and meals (ravioli, stew, chili), hearty variety soup, baby formula (Enfamil preferred), baby food (stages 1, 2, and 3), baby cereal (oatmeal preferred), and diapers (size 4, 5, and 6).
Those interested in donating can pull in to the parking lot of Town Hall with the grocery bags in the back of your car. They will be unloaded from your car to ensure social distancing.
Last weekend, the Morris Township Police Department in conjuntion with the FLAG of Morristown/Morris Township collected 13,586 pounds of food.
