MORRISTOWN, NJ -  The Town of Morristown will hold a Veteran's Day Service on Saturday November 11 at 11:00 a.m. on the Morristown Green. Mayor Timothy Dougherty will provide opening remarks and local veterans who have served the country will also speak.

In the event of rain, the event will be moved to the Morris Township Municipal Building

This past week, Andrew Lachawiec, U.S. Army was among the eight of Morris County Veterans who were honored by the Board of Freeholders for the honored  their military service. The veterans who were presented with the Morris County Distinguished Military Service Medal included:

Their service eras ranged from the Korean war period to the Vietnam War and Afghanistan.
