A tropical drink with three types of rum, two kinds of freshly squeezed juice and a garnish that resembles a fruit salad? That’s great if a bartender is making it for us.

When it comes to a cocktail in the comfort of our own home, sometimes we just want something simple. Something that doesn’t require washing out the blender when we’re done.

With that in mind, here are 10 easy and delightful cocktails you can throw together with just two or three ingredients. (No paper umbrellas required.)

Shandy: Combine one part cold beer with one part cold lemonade.

Aperol Spritz: Combine one part cold sparkling white wine with one part Aperol.

Dark and Stormy: Over ice, combine two parts rum with three parts ginger beer. Garnish with lime wedge, if desired.

Vodka Tonic: Over ice, combine one part vodka with three parts tonic. Garnish with a lemon or lime wedge, if desired.

Negroni: Over ice, combine one part gin, one part sweet vermouth and one part Campari. Garnish with an orange peel, if desired.

Rusty Nail: Over ice, combine two parts Scotch with one part Drambuie.

Reverse Martini: Shake two parts dry vermouth with one part gin in an ice-filled shaker until cold. Pour into a glass. Garnish with olives or lemon peel, if desired.

Screwdriver: Over ice, combine one part vodka with two parts orange juice.

Manhattan: Shake two parts whiskey, one part sweet vermouth and two dashes bitters together in an ice-filled shaker until cold. Pour into a glass. Garnish with a cherry, if desired.

Brandy Alexander: Shake one part brandy, one part crème de cacao and one part heavy cream together in an ice-filled shaker until cold. Pour into a glass. Sprinkle with nutmeg, if desired.
