Trinity Cranford Episcopal Church is hosting a charity ice cream sale on Sunday Sept. 17, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.  in Sherlock Hall at Trinity Church, 119 Forest Avenue, Cranford, NJ.

"Proceeds from the sale will benefit The Good Shepherd Home for Children in Cameroon that cares for orphaned children." said Marion Nechuta, Trinity's Outreach Team Leader. "We are happy to help support such important, life sustaining work. Trinity Cranford sponsors two of the orphans, Daniella and Musuga," Mrs. Nechuta continued.

The Good Shepherd Home is the brainchild of Sister Jane Mankaa who dedicates her life to nurturing the orphans of her country. It is located in the North West Province of Cameroon, an area with 50,000 orphaned children. Over 150 of them have found a home at Good Shepherd where they are sheltered, fed, clothed, educated and most of all, loved. Sister Jane does not turn any child away and no child is put up for adoption. The children truly live in a loving family environment with over 150 brothers and sisters.

Mahr, who as Mayor of Fanwood for 15 years has worked closely with Scotch Plains ...
