Mountainside Celebrates New Senior Lounge with Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, Feb. 28

MOUNTAINSIDE, NJ - Mountainside Mayor Paul Mirabelli and the Borough Council invite you to join them in welcoming … the NEW Senior Lounge located on the 2nd floor Community Room at Borough Hall.

There will be an official Ribbon Cutting ceremony on Wednesday, Feb. 28 at 12 noon with Mayor Mirabelli, Councilwoman Deanna Andre and Councilman Bob Messler. Freeholder Chairman Sergio Granados and Freeholder Alexander Mirabella will also be in attendance. 

The Senior Lounge's hours of operation are 10:30 am to 3:30.  The lounge offers an opportunity for Senior Citizens to get together with peers for conversations, assorted coffees and teas not to mention some entertainment.  We have laptops, a large screen TV, games and more. 

The Mayor and Council give special thanks to Senior Coordinator Kim Moriak and DPW foreman Matthew Deanna for all their efforts helping to put together this beautiful lounge, which was funded by the County of Union through the Senior Focus Grant.
