NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ - The New Providence Municipal Alliance congratulates NPHS seniors Nicole Gomber and Alana Ponte, this year’s recipients of awards that recognize their contributions to our community.
They are both great role models who have exhibited positive leadership and citizenship. They have been involved in community activities both in and out of school.
Activities that kept Nicole on a drug and alcohol free tract was the New Providence High School Marching Band Colorguard and the New Providence High School Peer Leadership program. She also served as a Senior Intern in the student ministry program at the Presbyterian Church.
Alana was the President of the New Providence High School Peer Leadership group where she was a strong mentor to younger students. She also proved her leadership skills through coaching soccer, special needs swimming and other volunteer activities.
The Alliance wishes them success in the future and encourages them to continue on their substance free paths.
