Oratory Senior John Felitto of Mountainside Awarded 2016 UCIAC Scholar Athlete of the Year

SUMMIT, NJ - Oratory Prep senior John Felitto was honored as a UCIAC Scholar-Athlete of the Year at the Annual UCIAC Awards Dinner held at the Westood in Garwood earlier this month. 

Felitto is a four year golfer for the Rams and will continue to play golf for the University of Notre Dame and will study Economics at their prestigious Mendoza College of Business. 

Felitto has won back to back NJSIAA Non Public B Championships in 2015 and 2016 and his Oratory Rams placed second in the Tournament of Champions. He also was crowned the 2016 Union County Tournament Champion defeating three-time Champion Gov. Livingston's Ryan Davis.

In a previous interview with TAP into Mountainside, Felitto said he will look back at his U.S. Junior Amateur in 2014 and 2015, as motivating factors that helped to get him to the next level.
