WESTFIELD, NJ — Trivium Academy, a private Christian day school for children in grades 1-5, celebrated its move from South Plainfield to Westfield Friday with a grand opening celebration.

The school, which has 10 students enrolled full-time as well as four homeschooled children enrolled one day a week, is located on the second floor of Redeemer Lutheran School at 229 Cowperthwaite Place. Redeemer serves students in preschool and kindergarten.

“We embrace our mission for excellence in education, and believe that this can best be accomplished through the Classical and Christian educational approach,” Headmaster Dr. Elizabeth Seaman explains on Trivium’s website. “We seek to fulfill this mission, combining a Christ-centered approach to every aspect of our curriculum with the best in Classical Education curriculum and pedagogy.”
