Sunday December 3, Blue Grass Band ‘Silk City’ at Springfield Free Public Library

SPRINGFIELD, NJ - The Springfield Free Public Library is bringing back Silk City, an acoustic bluegrass band with it says is “…a sound as unique as its repertoire” for a return visit.

The performance is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 3.  It will take place in the library's Palmer Museum.

Members of the band include Barry MItterhoff on mandolin, Danny Weiss on guitar and vocals, and the North Carolina “roots” sound of Mary Olive’s vocals. This performance will also feature special guest Tom Wise on bass.
