Temple Sholom to Screen Welcome to Kutshers

SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ - Temple Sholom to screen Welcome to Kutsher's: The Last Catskills Resort on Sunday, January 31, 2016 at 7 p.m.

Kutsher's Country Club was the last surviving Jewish resort in the Catskills. Kutsher’s which was family-owned and operated for over 100 years was one of the legendary Borscht Belt hotels. This award-winning documentary captures a last glimpse of a lost world as it disappeared before our eyes by exploring the full Dirty Dancing era Catskills experience and how it changed American pop culture in the comedy, sports and vacation industries.

Union County Seeks Input on Mountain Biking

MOUNTAINSIDE, NJ - The Union County Department of Parks & Recreation will host a meeting to present a Trails Master Plan that has been developed for the Watchung Reservation.  This plan will create new trails and open part of the Watchung Reservation to mountain biking.
