MOUNTAINSIDE, NJ - Thanks to the generosity of the Valairco Cares program, more children will experience a moment of magic through the creative programming of The Moment of Magic Foundation, who's mission is to provide a moment of magic to children with "medical vulnerabilities" through character visits.

Richard Valenti and Kevin McHugh of Valairco Heating and Cooling recently presented a check for $500 to Stephannie Fallon and the volunteers of Temple University's chapter of The Moment of Magic Foundation. "Their ability to bring a child their hero at a time when they just want to be a kid is amazing," said Valenti.

Snow White and Evie read a story and posed for photographs with the children. Each child also received a stuffed animal.

Founded in 2014 by Kylee McGrane (Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania) and Margaret McAndrew (Milford, Connecticut), their mission is simple -- spread some magic. The program takes college-age students to volunteer at children’s hospitals and schools dressed as some of the world's most popular princesses. The founders created a system in which college students from across the country could apply to become a part of their royal family.  Not only does The Moment of Magic provide a moment of magic for every deserving child, it also provides college students with service work they can feel passionate and empowered by.
