Trinity Episcopal Church, Cranford, New Jersey is collecting monetary donations for the Episcopal Relief & Development(ERD) Hurricane Harvey Response Fund during September. The money will fund the long-term Recovery phase of disaster relief which’ shifts to restoring services, repairing houses and buildings, returning individuals to self-sufficiency and rebuilding communities. “The challenge is long after the TV cameras are gone human suffering has grown and is chronic,” said Reverend Andy Kruger, of Trinity Cranford. “The Church excels at Recovery because we are part of the communities that have been impacted, can best identify needs and work with the community to address them”, he added.  Donations, made payable to “Episcopal Relief and Development” with ‘Hurricane Harvey Response Fund’ on the memo line, can be mailed to Trinity Church, 119 Forest Avenue, Cranford, NJ 07016 or dropped off at the church office. “Please help us support those who have been hit by Hurricane Harvey,” said Father Andy.
