“The greatest part of this event is the exposure to new customers. Many people travel from distant parts of the state to enjoy what the restaurants of Westfield are creating,” C.J. Reycraft, Jr., chef and owner of Butcher Burgers said. “We are excited about participating in Dine Out and looking forward to the big crowds.”

Other participating restaurants include: 16 Prospect Wine Bar & Bistro, Akai Sushi Lounge, Boulevard Bistro, The Brick Oven, Chez Catherine, Cosimo’s Italian Restaurant, Feast Catering & Juice Junky, Ferraro’s Restaurant, Limani Seafood Grill, Mojave Grille, Mulberry House Restaurant, Old Havana, Roosterspin, Splash of Thai, Sweet Waters Steak House, Theresa's, Tinga Taqueria, Turning Point Restaurant and Xocolatz.

Two wine shops — NosVino and the Liquor Basket — will offer 10 percent off of select wines during Dine Out Westfield.

“We'll be offering discounts during the entire Dine Out Westfield season on select wines — bottles that we've specifically paired for each downtown BYOB restaurant based on their own menus,” NosVino owner Erick Garcia said. “We've also just launched a new downtown delivery program which will include these discounted selections. Customers can call to inquire about delivery times, get pairing suggestions and order from their phone right at the restaurant.”

Visit www.westfieldtoday.com to see advance menus. Reservations are recommended, Cronin said.

February 19, 2018

Dear Editor:

I’m proud to support Colleen Mahr for Chair of the Union County Democratic Committee  (UCDC) and am encouraging my Scotch Plains peers to join me.

I was a first time candidate wanting to make a difference in my hometown of Scotch Plains, when Mayor Mahr of neighboring Fanwood stepped in to help me campaign and win my election to be Councilwoman three years ago.
