Westfield Area Y Hosts Camp Open Houses for Mountainside Families

MOUNTAINSIDE, NJ - Join the Westfield Area Y Camp Staff at Deerfield School on Tuesday, May 17th from 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm or at Beechwood School on Wednesday, May 18th from 2:45 pm – 3:45 pm in Mountainside for a Camp Open House.   
 
Participants and/or parents will have the opportunity to meet Y Camp Staff and learn about the new Pioneer specialty summer camp program for Mountainside residents as well as Y Before and After School Complements for next school year, located on-site at the Mountainside schools for Pre-K through 7th Grade. 
 
The camp program is ACA accredited and held in an air-conditioned location at the Beechwood School in Mountainside from 8:30 am – 12:30 pm and is for children in grades 1-6.   
 
 
Pioneer camp participants can pick 1-6 weeks of new challenges, skills and experiences every week such as:   Mysteries of Magic, Musical Theater, Fashion Design, Dance U, Teenage Brick Turtles and Fencing.  Each week campers will have a blast and make new friends in a safe environment.
