Westfield Girl Hospitalized After Pool Accident Goes Home, Site Says

WESTFIELD, NJ —  Linda Fazio, the 6-year-old girl who was found unresponsive and revived at Westfield Memorial Pool June 25, is home from the hospital, according to an update posted on the “Support Linda Fazio’s Recovery" GoFundMe site.

“We are so happy to announce that Linda has come home! She arrived to a mountain of gifts and get well cards which brought a huge smile to her face,” the update attributed to her parents, Claudio and Yanella Fazio, reads.

“She has made tremendous progress during her time in the rehabilitation facility and we have no reason to believe she will not be able to continue life as usual and enjoy the rest of her summer.

“Thank you God and thank you everyone who contributed to this most wonderful miracle! We are forever grateful and will cherish each and every moment we have with both of our wonderful children.”

The GoFundMe site created by Jen Goldstein has raised more than $44,000 from nearly more than 875 donors since June 27. To contribute, click here.
