Winter Story Times at the Mountainside Public Library

MOUNTAINSIDE, NJ - Come into the warm and inviting Community Room at the Mountainside Public Library and cuddle up while Miss Elizabeth reads your favorite stories!  There are story times for every age!  

On Tuesdays from now through Feb. 23, Cuddle Story Time will be presented for “Walkers” from 10:30 –11:00 A.m. and for “Pre-walkers”, i.e. babies in arms, from 11:05 – 11:30 a.m. This program consists of nursery rhymes, simple stories and songs for children up to 23 months of age with their caregivers.

On Wednesdays from now through Feb. 24, Toddler Story Time will be presented in 2 sessions:  10:30 – 11:00 a.m. and 11:15 – 11:45 a.m. This program will feature stories, songs and movement for two-year-olds with their caregivers.  And, from 3:45 – 4:15 p.m., After School Family Story Time will be presented for the whole family.

On Thursdays from now through Feb.  25, Mostly 3’s Story Time will be presented from 10:30 – 11:15 a.m. This program consists of favorite stories and crafts for 2½ - 3 year olds who are ready to listen to longer stories and their caregivers.  Preschool Story Time, from 1:45 – 2:30 p.m. features stories and crafts for 3, 4 and 5 year olds.

On Friday, Jan.  22, Feb. 12 and 26 from 10:30 – 11:15 a.m., end the week with Family Story Time, stories and crafts for 2-5 year olds with their families.
