MOUNTAINSIDE, NJ – Councilman Robert Messler and Councilwoman Rachel Pater today announced their intention to seek re-election for Mountainside Council.
“I am proud to serve as your Councilman, and Rachel and I look forward to continuing our work for the residents of Mountainside,” said Messler. “As we continue to navigate through very challenging times, the Mountainside Council has maintained fiscal strength, continues to provide essential services to our residents while keeping municipal taxes low. It is with hard work and dedication that we will continue to put Mountainside first.”
“Mountainside is a wonderful town full of dynamic people and families,” noted Pater. “I hope to continue to contribute to the town that is noted for being one of the best places to live in New Jersey.” Pater continued, “In 2020, it was my honor to serve as one of the Co-chairs for the 125th Anniversary celebration. While the pandemic limited our plans, the community was able to come together for a final time capsule ceremony last October. I take great pride in serving as Councilwoman, and have also been fortunate to serve with Bob as he has been a mentor, friend and running mate.”
