First Night Morris County 2020 is the biggest and brightest New Year’s Eve celebration in New Jersey, providing a magnificent family-friendly, alcohol-free and substance-free celebration in 16 venues throughout the heart of Morristown. Our stellar program features over 100 artists, 40 events: dance, theatre, music (rock, jazz, blues, classical, etc.), visual arts, world cultures, children’s programs and so much more.

Your First Night Morris County admission button gives you access to innovative, diverse and high quality performances ideal for participants of all ages. The venues are within close walking distance of one another and the historic Morristown Green. The venues are also accessible via free shuttles which run all evening. With the Dazzling Light Up The Night show at 9:15pm and a Midnight Countdown to Welcome in the New Year at Midnight. For one affordable price, you and your friends and family will enjoy unlimited access to all of our spectacular performances (subject to venue capacities).

Deadline for Change in Party Affiliation is April 8 to Vote in June Presidential Primary

The Union County Board of Elections reminds voters who plan to change their party affiliation that they must do so by April 8, in order to participate in their new party’s Primary Election on June 2.

“Party-affiliated voters often do not realize that the deadline to change their affiliation is set long before Primary Day,” said Board of Elections Administrator Nicole DiRado.
