Learn Backyard Gardening Basics at Westfield Memorial Library

Karen Camden will present “Backyard Gardening Basics.” This program is ideal for people who love landscapers’ displays and formal gardens but need assistance in creating such beauty in their own backyard, patio, or deck.

Audience members will learn the basics of gardening: soils, tools, and choosing the right plants. They will learn what it takes to design, plan and execute the garden of their dreams.

Karen Camden, President of Camden Associates, is a diversified educator, consultant, and financial executive. Her background includes more than twenty years of management experience and extensive gardening. She holds an M.B.A. in Accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a dual major B.S. in Management Science and Psychology from Kean University.

She is a popular library presenter who has taught many computer education classes at the library, along with resume writing, repurposing everyday objects and managing stress.
