The Masterwork Chorus Launches 19th Summer Sing Season

The Masterwork Chorus launches its popular annual Summer Sings on Wednesday, June 20 at 7:30 PM at the Chatham United Methodist Church, 460 Main Street, Chatham, NJ.  This week’s Sing features the Mozart Requiem and J. S. Bach Cantata 196 conducted by Chris Shepard. Tickets are available at the door and also online.  Admission for singers is $15 (including scores) and $7.50 for students and listeners. Booklets of five tickets are $65, and may be shared. For details visit www.masterwork.org.

Rutgers President Barchi Staying 2 More Years

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ - Rutgers University President Robert Barchi has agreed to continue in that position for two more years, university officials said.

Monster Dash 5k and Fun Run is Oct. 27

Project Home of Cranford will be hosting their annual 5K Monster Dash on Saturday, Oct. 27, in Nomahegan Park starting at 9:30 a.m.and a 1-Mile Family Fun Run starting at 9:00 a.m. Runners and walkers are welcomed to run or walk in costume. There will also be a collection of non-perishable foods at the race to help stock the Cranford Family Care pantry.
