Theater Project: Letters from a Self-Made Merchant to His Son

The Theater Project returns in 2020 with live, script-in-hand readings of original plays, followed by discussions with the playwright, director, cast, and audience. NJ actor, director, and writer Dennis D’Aprile will debut “Letters from a Self-Made Merchant to His Son,” a new work based on  George Horace Lorimer’s 1903 book about a wealthy man grooming his son to take over the family business by making him start at the bottom, as portrayed in comparison to our modern measures of success. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Cranford Public Library,

Deadline for Change in Party Affiliation is April 8 to Vote in June Presidential Primary

The Union County Board of Elections reminds voters who plan to change their party affiliation that they must do so by April 8, in order to participate in their new party’s Primary Election on June 2.
