December 1st 3:30 PM, tree lighting at 5:30 PM at the Westfield Train Station, 104 North Avenue, Westfield

Wear your “Ugly Holiday Sweater” to get a free cookie and join us for a festive evening filled with holiday cheer and community!

Take pictures with your family in a life-sized snow globe, meet Santa, Mrs. Claus, and the elves, and enjoy cookies, hot chocolate, and warm apple cider! Maybe the magic of the season will even make it “snow”! 

A DJ will be spinning holiday tunes and the Community Band takes the stage at 5:30 when Mayor Brindle, Santa and Mrs. Claus will officiate the tree lighting.

Open skate at the Westfield Rink, South Chestnut & 4th Avenue, 2:30PM - 4PM; 6:30 - 8PM

All are welcome and encouraged to attend.

2:30PM-4:00PM: OPEN SKATE (AT WESTFIELD RINK)

5:00PM-5:30PM: THE COMMUNITY BAND WILL TAKE THE STAGE

5:30PM: SANTA AND MRS. CLAUS ARRIVE TO LIGHT THE TREE WITH MAYOR BRINDLE!

5:30-6:00PM TAKE PICTURES WITH SANTA ON THE STAGE

6:30PM-8:00PM OPEN SKATE (AT WESTFIELD RINK)

Deadline for Change in Party Affiliation is April 8 to Vote in June Presidential Primary

The Union County Board of Elections reminds voters who plan to change their party affiliation that they must do so by April 8, in order to participate in their new party’s Primary Election on June 2.

“Party-affiliated voters often do not realize that the deadline to change their affiliation is set long before Primary Day,” said Board of Elections Administrator Nicole DiRado.
