The end of the year coffee house has been a five year tradition at GL. It was started by Guitar Club and TREND advisor Bob Segear. "The purpose was to give students and faculty members a chance to unwind and have some fun with their peers before school officially closes for the summer," said Segear. Everyone in attendance enjoyed an awesome lunch from the Mountainside Deli.

"Students and faculty get to show their talents which enhances our student faculty relationships and helps creates a more positive school environment," said Segear.

The event was part of a yearlong Leadership program involving members from the TREND and Student Ambassadors’ Clubs that was sponsored by Prevention Links the Union County Drug and Alcohol resource Center for Union County. The Guitar Club and TREND are run by Student Assistance Counselor Bob Segear and the Student Ambassadors are run by Michelle Morin.
