BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - The Highlander Band of Governor Livingston High School will host the 48th annual “Pageant of Champions” Band Tournament at 12 30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 13. This year there will be ten high school marching bands from across New Jersey performing in this competition. The family-friendly event will feature hot food including the "famous" Mac & Cheese and Highlander Chili, snacks, baked goods and souvenirs.

Under the direction of Nicholas O’Sullivan, the Highlander Band will be performing their 2019 field show at 4 PM. At the band pageant, students perform intricate field maneuvers while they play concert-quality music. Audience members of all ages are entertained by the music, colorful uniforms, intriguing themes and cheering on high school students at their best.

The entrance fee for the Pageant of Champions is $10 for adults and children under 6 are admitted free. Berkeley Heights and Mountainside students wearing School Spirit clothing and Scouts in uniform get in free.
