MOUNTAINSIDE, NJ – Mayor Paul Mirabelli is seeking another 4-year term as a Mayor unopposed and two Republican Candidates, Donna Pacifico and incumbent Rene Dierkes, along with Democrat Carlos Gomez  are seeking Primary Election nominations for two available council seats in June.

Councilman Glenn Mortimer has decided not to rerun for another 3-year council term.

The Union Council Board of Elections has notified the borough that new voting machines will be in place for the June 4 Primary Elections, Mirabelli said at the Tuesday, April 2 council working session. The board has scheduled the following training sessions for voters in order to familiarize them with the new machines:
