They have been partnering with “local teams” as their key to success.

As part of their commitment to local, Prestige Diner has added two local businesses to their partnerships: they source daily deliveries from John”s Meat Market in Scotch Plains for their burgers and updated their wing sauce and recipe to feature New Providence's own Defcon Sauces. Award-winning products in their own right, Prestige has selected the best, quite literally: John's Market voted "Best Butcher in NJ" multiple years running and Defcon has won over 70 major international awards since 2004. By adding Def Con and John's Market to their growing list of local suppliers, Prestige is making shopping and eating local their mantra.

“We are very serious about shopping local-we’ve made it a core mission of our business in fact. We buy produce from local organic farmers when possible, our craft brews on tap include NP”s Untied and other New Jersey Microbreweries, ice cream from Zitas, desserts from Bovella’s, of course meats from John”s and wing sauce from Defcon. It can not get any better, sourcing local is a win-win for all” said Jimmy Vardas, co-owner of Prestige Diner.

Def Con Sauces based in New Providence and exclusively offered locally at Prestige, has won over 70 major international awards since 2004, and are pretty much the team to beat in national competitions with their time-tested, award-winning recipes to suit every heat level. Their most popular recipes are: Defcon #3 - Mild heat Buffalo Wing sauce, Defcon #2 - Medium heat and Defcon #1 - HOT.
