MOUNTAINSIDE, NJ -  Several brave kids came by for the thrill of the annual "Haunted Trail" behind the Mountainside Municipal Complex Saturday night on a crisp autumn night.

The trail featured several different frightening scenes with actors ensuring "an extreme haunt." Members of the Volunteer Rescue Squad led the guests through the trail while wolves, zombies and the infamous chainsaw carrying monster chased its prey to the exit.

A more kid friendly version was available throughout the Rescue Squad headquarters, where actors were positioned to startle those who dared to walk through the "family friendly" haunted maze.
