GARWOOD, NJ — A 65-year-old borough woman hit by car at Second Avenue and Cedar Street Thursday night has died from her injuries, police said.

Nedra I. Clark, 65, was crossing Cedar Street in the marked crosswalk when a Dodge Charger turning left at the intersection hit her around 6:15 p.m., police Chief Jim Wright said in a statement.

Members of the Garwood First Aid Squad treated Clark at the scene before taking her to University Hospital in Newark where she died from her injuries overnight, Wright said.
