BRIDGEWATER, NJ- The U13 Berkeley Heights Hotspurs girls soccer team won the Bridgewater Kick-Off Classic Tournament last weekend.

This was the girl's first appearance in the the event and marked the first time that the team played in an 11v11 competition.  The fields are larger and the game is longer but the girl's rose to the challenge. They played to a scoreless tie against a tough competitor on Saturday and followed it up with a decisive 4-0 win on Sunday morning. In the final game, the Hotspurs ralllied from behind to beat one of their rivals by a score of 2-1.

The tournament win was a great kick off for the EDP season for the Hotspurs and the team is looking forward to an exciting fall.
