WARREN, NJ - Governor Livingston’s girls swim team enjoyed a clear victory over Oak Knoll Thursday night with a final score of 120-50.

Coach David Closs celebrated this year’s senior class including Danielle Curtis, Michele Lenahan, Amanda Polizzi, Charlotte Roder, Taylor Rooney and Samantha Wallace as they splashed their way across the plank at their last home meet. The pool deck was decked out in bright Highlander colors celebrating each senior athlete.

Coach Closs was impressed with each seniors’ brilliant swims and was thrilled at how much drive these girls put into their final home meet. Their dedication to the sport came through in the senior relays where they were able to demonstrate just how much they have improved over the years.

These girls have come a long way together. Three of them have been swimming together since elementary school at the Berkeley Swim Club.  They love the sport and made the transition to the high school team.

The team’s impressive showing also included three events with first, second and third place sweeps in the 50 and 100 yard freestyles and the 100 yard breaststroke.

Next, the team matches up against Union on January 16th.
