BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - The GL Baseball Program lead by Coach Chris Roof has announced its annual campaign to raise money for the Spring Baseball Season with a variety of fundraisers.  Your support will help the team undertake its Annual Spring Training trip.  This year they are headed to Port St. Lucie, Florida for the first time.  Additionally, proceeds are used to keep equipment and team uniforms current. Information on each is listed below along with contact information.  

5th Annual Baseball Gala – Saturday, February 8, 2020 from 7pm – 11pm at the Primavera Regency.  Cost is $100 per person and includes an open bar and live music from Jersey Shore favorite, Ray Anderson and The First Verse.   Ray has played in Meat Loaf’s band as well as Cats On A Smooth Surface.  

Our silent auction will feature many new items and unique trips.  Auction items and additional details will soon be announced!

Super 50/50 Baseball Raffle – Now in its 3rd year, the Super 50/50 continues to grow.  The maximum prize is $7500 and  only 150 tickets will be sold.   This year the drawing is being held on Sunday, April 19th at the Varsity Baseball Field.  Cost of each raffle ticket is $100.  For more information or to purchase tickets email or purchase on line at  

Superbowl Box Pool -  Now in its second year, we will be offering a Superbowl Box Pool for $30 a box and will be available at Super Saturday this weekend.  Payouts will be $300 each quarter and $600 for the final score.  Stop by the Baseball table this weekend at GL to join or we have set up NFL Squares Pool at RunYourPool named “GL Baseball Fundraiser.”  If you want to participate on line, go to the following link and fill out the form:

Banner sales at Varsity Field – If you would like to advertise your business at the GL Varsity Baseball Field, buy a banner to be displayed on the fence all season.  Prices range from $400 - $1000.  If you know a business who would like to advertise or you own a business and are interested, please email George Devanney at for more information.
