SCOTCH PLAINS/FANWOOD, NJ -- The Governor Livingston's Girls Varsity basketball team showed up in force to help Jeff Mayerson and his Wolves Basketball Academy clinic for children with Autism,Spectrum disorders and other special needs on Saturday, December 14th.

GL head coach Chris Eckert and the entire Varsity team joined the loyal Wolves staff and volunteers to run drills and games.

"Coach Chris and his players were very helpful as well as enthusiastic," said Jeff Mayerson, who has run these clinics for six years.  "It was truly amazing watching the entire Girl’s varsity team and coaching staff have fun and really bond with all of the kids. All the kids in the program LOVED having these players here to help out.  The girls have a big season ahead of them and to have them take some time out of their weekend to help out was great to see.   The players are all great young women who took pride and showed compassion towards these amazing children from our local community.   I would personally like to thank all of them.”
