TOMS RIVER, NJ - Gov. Livingston senior Victoria Vanriele ran a season PR of 2:07.83, breaking her old All Group Record of 2:09.72 from 2019 to capture the NJSIAA Group 2 championship title in the 800 M. This time also breaks the venue record of 2:08.81 set by Vanriele in 2018.

This was Vanriele’s last time racing at the Bubble, as the Meet of Champions has been moved to Ocean Breeze in Staten Island this year. On Sunday, March 8, Vanriele will contest her last NJSIAA High School Indoor Meet of Champions in the 800M event. 

Some of Vanriele's running career accomplishments include: 

  • Colgate Woman's Game Middle School Title 
  • USATF National Age-Group Title
  • Two-time NJ Gatorade Player of the Year 
  • Six-time Meet of Champion  
  • 10-time Group 2 State Champion
  • Four-time All-American at US Nationals
  • and multiple-times Union County Indoor and Outdoor Champion, two-time Union County Cross Country Champion and Championship Course Record Holder.

Vanriele will be continuing her track career at Penn State University.
