BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - Lights! Camera! Fashion! The annual Prom Fashion Show on last month featured students and teachers modeling the latest prom fashion. There was a basket raffle featuring prizes such as furnishings for dorm rooms, gift cards to restaurants, and tickets to see GL’s spring musical.Hosted by the Class of 2020 and the  Project Graduation committee, the event helps to raise money for two events: the prom and Project Graduation.

All of the clothing was provided by Lord & Taylor, David’s Bridal, and Adams Fine Clothing and Tuxedos. The show was hosted by seniors Josh Bezerra and Maycee Campano, who announced each model and what they were wearing.

For the first portion of the show, each model walked down the runway, stopping twice to pose for the cameras. Senior Mitchell Szalus, who modeled a suit with a bright red jacket, said, “I felt high-class during the show, and was happy with what I was wearing.”

In the second part of the show, the student models strutted down the runway in pairs, with teacher models, Beryl Roman, Meredith Morgan, and Wendy Richards, modeling together.

Senior Nishka Abraham said, “I thought the show was great. It was a lot of fun and everyone looked amazing.”

The Prom Fashion Show gave the students a chance to see the latest prom styles as they begin to choose their own dresses and tuxedos for the prom season ahead.
