I applaud the new project in New Brunswick of providing shelter for the homeless.
But I must point out that on Nichol Ave in New Brunswick on the Douglass-Cook campus there are about 10 houses that used to be Douglass dormitories, Corwin Campus. Each one housed, I believe, 6 to 8 students. These houses are now standing vacant, why can't they be used as homeless shelters? There were another 10 or so houses adjacent to these that were torn down some years ago. That land is now vacant.
What a waste!!!!!
