NORTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - County, state and local officials will be holding a press conference at The Greene Turtle Sports Bar & Grille in North Brunswick on October 28 at 4 p.m. to announce funding for the construction of the new North Brunswick Tration station and commter parking lot. 

Speakers will include State Senate President Stephen M. Sweeney, NJ State Senator Bob Smith of the 17th legislative district, North Brunswick Mayor Francis M. Womack, III, Middlesex County Freeholder Director Ronald G. Rios and other county and local officials  These speakers will offer remarks during a ceremonial event. 

Middlesex County has committed to working with North Brunswick and NJ Transit in the station and parking project. The NJ Transit portion of the funding will come from NJ Transportation Trust Fund Legislation.

The Greene Turtle will serve the community free food, and the celebration, which will include live music, is sponsored by North Brunswick TOD Associates, LLC. The Green Turtle is located at 211 Main Street, North Bnsck. Opening remarks begin at 5 p.m.
