NEW BRUNSWICK – Rutgers University’s Eagleton Institute of Politics will host former presidential nominee Hillary Rodham Clinton on March 29.
Originally scheduled for the College Avenue Gym, the event, entitled “A Conversation with the Honorable Hillary Rodham Clinton,” has been moved to the Rutgers Athletic Center “due to the extraordinary level of interest,” the Institute stated on its website.
The event is free but each person must obtain a ticket, and there is now a waiting list. Information about the waiting list is available on the Eagleton Institute website.
The Institute selected Clinton as the 2017-2018 Clifford P. Case Professor of Public Affairs.
University students have been urged to submit questions for the former presidential candidate.
Clinton also served as senator from New York, and was the secretary of state under President Barack Obama. Clinton has been a visitor to Rutgers. In 1993, she appeared on the Voorhees Mall and politely declined the offer from a College Avenue fraternity to stop by for dinner.
